Puerto Vallarta, Mexico August 23-30, 2008

Jo and I (Milt) had a wonderful time in Puerto Vallarta this past week. We picked up some of the language which is always good. We met new friends, sam with a dolphin, took a tropical tour, the the Rythim of the Night Show on Las Caletas Island 15 miles off shore from Puerto Vallarta. We even did some missionary work by sharing the gospel a little and passing out pass-a-long cards. Below are just a sampling of our pictures.
Here we are standing with Las Arcos Island in the background. This was on our City tour.

This is the Preditor from the movie. This is located in the jungle area of El Edien.

This is one of the sea lions we saw at the Americana Park where we went swimming with a dolphin.

You can see our picture of swimming with the dolphin at the bottom of this blog.

This is one of the very bueatiful sunsets we saw out of our hotel villa. It was just awsome.

Below are a couple of pictures looking out to the Pacific Ocean and our garden area from our 21st floor hotel villa. We were staying at the Buganvilias Resort a Sheraton.

Finally we have our special friends Azer and Vaianey Reyes a wonderful couple and members of the church who we met while attending church.

Paul and Ingrid's Wedding

Jo and I are so grateful and blessed for the privilege to attend Paul and Ingrid's wedding and reception. It was nice to have the whole family present. They were married in the Timponogus Temple in American Fork, Utah. The reception was at Millennial Falls in Draper, Utah. Here are some of many pictures taken of this special event.

Five out of seven of my children are now married and all of them in the temple. I am so proud of them all and what they have accomplished. In due time Jacob and Jarom will follow suit but they have time and time is on their side. This has been a day (May 17th, 2008) to remember for sure.

Booboo has a new brother named Buster

Booboo got himself a new brother on Monday, May 12th. He is a tabby called Buster. He has a lot of energy and curiosity. Buster is a year old. He will be a good addition to our home. Here are a couple of pictures of him and Booboo.

Jo and I spent from March 10th thru the 13th in Las Vegas, Nevada at our Tropicana condo. We had a wonderful time. We had the privilege of taking in a session at the Las Vegas Temple. We also visited some of the sights and sounds of the city. Above is a sampling of the pictures we took. Tempretures were in the mid to high 70's during the day. We really like our ownership in Worldmark the Club. We would love to take family and friends from time to time as desire and schedules permit.

Sammy's last days

We are sorry to see that Sammy is in his last days in mortaility. he cannot walk either up or down the stairway. When he lays around he does not often raise his head. When he does walk it is slow and at time halted. He has lived a good 17 years+. Sammy has been with Jo for about 14 of his 17 years. This is part of the life of having loving pets.

Febrary is upon us.

I was back in Washington DC for 6 days at the end of January in an effort to work with congress on 3 issues that affect blind persons. It is always fun to go to Washington and walk the halls of congress and meet with our representatives. There was an opportunity to take some students around and visit some of the monuments. We went to the Toumb of the Unknown Soldier and was the changing of the guard. We also went to the top of the Washington monument. Perhaps I can provide some pictures later.

I will be in Baltimore this coming weekend to a web seminar. So I do keep busy.

I am working in the family search indexing program. It is a way that folks can make microfilm records available for folks to help find their relatives. So as you can see I am keeping busy.

A New Year

Life is good as we move into the New Year. Jo is working at Herman Street (selling classic and Disney movies and other asorted items related to the movies). We have no pictures for the new year as yet. We aren't heavy picture takers unless we travel but then that could change. Life is about change. We hope our family and friends have a great 2008 and we will keep you up to date as we can.

Here are pictures of Sammy and Booboo.
